Who am I?

For more than 20 years, I have worked alongside my husband, running Chislett Architecture & Planning. A local firm in the Comox Valley that has been serving the Valley for 40+ years. Earlier in my career, I worked as a social researcher focused on quality of life. Over the years, I have learned to look at both the practical side of an issue and the people who will live with the result.

 

I think this combination is particularly useful now in these complex and challenging times. The next Comox Council will face decisions around aging infrastructure, limited grant funding, residents already feeling taxed to capacity, development pressures and other competing interests, with tight budgets. I bring experience working through complex issues, understanding the numbers and looking for practical—and sometimes less obvious—ways forward.​ I am asking for your vote as I look forward to serving all residents in Comox.
