Your vote on Saturday, October 17, 2026 has never mattered more. With the new Official Community Plan now adopted, with new 6 storey baseline, the guidelines that will shape Comox for the next 20 years are set — and very few of those decisions will come back to the community for further discussion as per the Provinces' Bill 44.
What happens to this town over the four next next depends almost entirely on who sits at the council table and how they vote. Every building approved, every tree removed, every OCP density vision changed, every dollar spent will flow from the values and judgment of the seven people you elect.
This next elected council will either honour the vision the overall community has pushed for — or quietly reshape it decision by decision, as it is already being done. Your neighbourhood, your home, your Comox. Please Inform Yourself. Vote for those candidates who reflect your values.
